Who pays for my car repairs?
Often, the first major concern of a person after an accident is determining who will pay for the property damage to the vehicle. You may have collision coverage under your own policy. Again, collision coverage may include a deductible that you would be responsible to pay. If the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident was at fault, then his or her insurance should cover the property damage to your vehicle. If the other driver=s insurance pays for the repairs of your vehicle, then there should not be any deductible that you would be responsible to pay out of pocket.
