PERSONAL INJURY OVERVIEW
Over the past 30 years, Mark Spence has represented clients in hundreds of personal injury cases including cases involving automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, animal attacks and construction site or workplace accidents. Mark has litigated many of these cases through trial. It is one thing to negotiate a settlement of a personal injury case prior to suit and it is quite another thing to litigate and try a case. Not all attorneys have jury trial experience.
The most common cause for injuries, in Mark's experience, is the result of motor vehicle accidents. Florida has what is known as No-fault insurance laws which apply to motor vehicle accidents. These laws can be complicated. You should consult with an attorney if you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident in order to understand the laws as they apply to the unique facts in your case.

Over the years I have witnessed many instances where clients have been involved in catastrophic accidents and experienced life-changing injuries, but there was not any insurance coverage to compensate them for their injuries. Sometimes the injured person ends up filing bankruptcy because there was inadequate insurance to compensate the client for all of his or her medical bills and lost wages or future lost earning capacity. Therefore, if you do not have uninsured motorist coverage, or your coverage limits are low, you may wish to review your coverages with your insurance agent as well as my office to determine whether you should have higher uninsured motorist limits.
